Susan's workouts have been an excellent addition to my life. Since beginning strength training with Susan, I have grown stronger in my legs, arms, and core, and my overall energy has improved as well! I have a chronic back condition, and Susan is the first trainer I've had that compassionately understands this challenge and consistently helps me find ways to modify that are equally challenging. I started working out with Susan in the Spring because of her great flexibility and adaptability when we hit the pandemic. A Place for all ages!!! Susan has the wonderful gift of tailoring each workout to the personal needs of the individual. I have a knee issue & she is always careful not to give me an exercise that aggravates it. Even though she has to avoid the knee, the shoulder, the back or the hip she is patient. She can make every client feel energized & anxious for more. I am a 79 year old grandmother who has been working out with Susan on ZOOM for about 4 years now. We are over 300 miles apart, but can still have a personal workout. I have lost 15 pounds & I am much stronger than I ever was. BESIDES ALL THAT, I FEEL YOUNGER!!!!!!!! Susan works very hard at GETTING IT RIGHT.
Once I met Susan, I went from dreading my workouts to looking forward to them. She has an uncanny ability to know just how far to push to get the most effective workout without making it a struggle. For years, I worked out at a higher intensity and received far fewer results. Now, my arms and legs are more toned than they have ever been, my core and glutes are stronger than ever and I’ve been able to maintain the frequency of her program. I only wish I had started training with her a long time ago!
I have been working out with Susan for the past year and all I can say is I want to look like her! You want a workout trainer who talks the talk and walks the walk. That is Susan. She works out by your side and she cares. She not only has passion for teaching and educating, she makes it fun. Whether is it making me wake up with the chickens for a 6:30am workout, or a midday routine, she has a flexible schedule that allows me to pick what time is best for me. I have loved getting to meet others (over zoom!) and look forward to the day we can all work out together in person. For now, Susan offers plenty of variety and also so many things that I can do on my own. I appreciate her attention to detail and her ability to help me get a FULL body workout. I also like that she knows her food! She offers great suggestion for healthy eating (find out about her "bowl bar"!).. and it gets me motivated to want to cook healthier for my family.
I like that the workouts are different every time. I get to experience new workouts and new ways I can take care of myself and my body. When I started working out with Susan I didn’t like the way I looked and wanted to change that, Susan has helped me see a positive difference in my body and I’ve become stronger along the way.
Working out with Susan helped me get back on track with my overall fitness and good health and finally lose almost 10 pounds! Her individualized attention means I get a workout that is just right for me - not too hard and not too easy, but challenging enough to get results and become progressively stronger. As my body strengthened, I found the courage to start being more mindful with my food choices. Susan guided me each step of the way with her knowledge as a certified trainer and nutrition expert. But the best part about my workouts with Susan, is how zen I feel after my workout. Whatever stress, problems, and struggles I am dealing with as a mom, wife, or just living through this pandemic, melt away during the time I spend time with Susan. I half jokingly tell her that she is really my inexpensive therapist - but it is true! She keeps me moving in the right direction!
